Some background on me:
I’ve been working in video since 1993. I’m currently working at Pic Two Productions in Moline, IL and have been there for almost 3 years. We’re a small shop specializing in corporate and commercial videos mainly in the Midwest. My main role is motion graphics artist and animator, although I do a fair share of editing and shooting as well. We shoot primarily with the Panasonic AJ-SDX900 DVCPro50 Camera and edit on Avid Media Composer 9000’s (Meridien systems). 3D is handled primarily in Autodesk’s Maya and Adobe After Effects is used for most motion graphics projects.
I do some freelance gigs at the Mark of the Quad Cities such as running camera for the Quad City Steamwheelers Arena Football team and the now defunct Quad City Mallards UHL Hockey team. I’m really looking forward to welcoming the Quad City Flames AHL Hockey team in October and hope I still have the opportunity to run camera for them as well.
I just started in June as the webmaster for the Quad City Advertising Federation and have my work cut out for me transforming the site into a dynamic and usable site that will hopefully serve the Ad Fed well.
